With props Simon Bunting and Steve Barretto both injured, Pieter Muller has moved to cover the shortage of fit prop forwards by taking David Young on loan from Leicester Tigers. Young, aged 20, joined the Tigers Academy a year ago but was elevated to a Senior Squad Contract this season following his performances in the Premiership "A" League. Young has played for Scotland at Under 19 in the U19 Rugby World Cup, and last season for the Under 21 side in the Six Nations. he is 1.85m and 112kg.
