This weekend sees the departure of Brian McGarrell after many years here firstly as a player and subsequently as our original Rugby Development Officer. Brian has worked wonders for the club, initially on a voluntary basis and more latterly as one of our sponsored RDO’s. Brian’s contribution to the work we are doing in schools should not be under-estimated and the templates he has left in place will long be guidelines for the future. We wish Brian, Tina and family every success with their hotel venture in Scotland – rumour has it that he is offering free beer to any Doncaster member who goes and stays at his hotel at Muir of Ord, just north of Inverness.
