Doncaster Knights, and the Whole of Castle Park, would like to offer their condolences to the family of Ex player Brian Rumble.
Brian Rumble played as a prop in the 69/70 season, and speaking to some of his team mates from the time we can see why he will be sorely missed. “A true Gentleman of the game” , “ A quiet but thoroughly nice man” were but two of the comments from the players who played alongside him.
The Funeral will be held at Cantley at 12.20 on Monday, and will mark the passing of a man who was popular among all the men he played Rugby with, and who will always be a part of the history of this club.
John Lowe added this personal comment,
Those who played for the club, at the end of the 60's will be saddened by the news about "Souk". We all offer our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
