* Special offer on catered hospitality boxes for Doncaster RFC supporters – see PS!

We look forward to welcoming Doncaster and their supporters on Saturday 3rd November to Billesley Common for Moseley v Knights with a 3.00pm kick off. Our catering before, during and after the match has received many plaudits. There are also lots of places within a walk/bus/taxi/train if you prefer either before or after the game -  though you’ll find the catering, refreshments and atmosphere in the clubhouse good!

How to find us

Directions for travel to the ground are on the club website (How to find us). This includes details of train and bus travel. Train and bus to the ground is relatively straightforward.

Car parking is free, and disabled badge holders can park right next to the wheel-chair friendly clubhouse. To avoid congestion (and to keep our neighbours happy!) please follow the directions on the website and approach the ground from the South.

Bar & Catering

The bar and catering facilities are open from 12 noon on match day serving a variety of food such as “panini”, Chilli, jacket potatoes, succulent pork baps, healthy sandwiches as well as the usual “chips with everything" from three different serving locations. We received plaudits from many visiting supporters last season. The bar usually has at least one real ale (currently Mansfield along with Banks Bitter) as well as the usual array of Guinness/Lager/Cider etc.

New this season

New Stand – the new COVERED 650 seater stand is now open and attracts a small additional charge.

Additional Beer Wagons – located diagonally opposite the clubhouse in the corner nearest the Common.

Additional New toilet facilities – near the main gate next to the hospitality boxes.

Marquee – Bitter and Lager bar next to the clubhouse available to all supporters

These facilities should ensure you get served quickly and avoid the usual immediate post match pressure on the main clubhouse facilities.

Match Preview & Report

Moseley’s match preview is usually on the club website (click on 1st XV then fixtures) by the Tuesday running up to the game. If you have time on match day, pick up a copy of The Birmingham Post. Saturday’s edition has a match preview. Unless you get left behind (or of course live locally) the match report from Monday’s Post is usually on their website mid morning www.birminghampost.net

Match Day entry

Entry is £13 for adults, Senior Citizens £8; Youth (Under 21) £4; Under 16 £2

The new covered stand is £2 extra (please pay at the stand NOT on the gate)

Match Day Programme

The programme is available on the entry gates priced £2.

Club Shop

The ideal present for your friends and relatives! All Moseley branded and a souvenir of your visit!  The club shop is located at the end of the hospitality boxes facing the clubhouse.

Hotels & B&Bs

If any supporters are planning to stay over before or after the game they may find this website useful. Please note that Moseley Rugby Club has no arrangements with any of these organisations and does not endorse or recommend them. However, if you find one of them particularly good perhaps you could suggest they sponsor us! Contact Alan Potter, General Manager. http://www.bedandbreakfasts.co.uk/propertysearch.asp?location=Moseley+Rugby+Club

PS - A Hospitality Box available for the game

With the expansion of the hospitality boxes to total 16, two are being sold on a ‘game by game’ basis to visiting supporters. One remains for the Doncaster match (subject to availability – will be sold to home supporters if not taken by visitors first) at £600 per game. This will go pretty quickly – so would advise anyone even potentially interested registers there interest (no commitment – just interest first) and gets an ‘option’ on it.

The boxes are positioned in eight, two storey arrangements with attendant general toilet facilities. The boxes measure 22 x 8 x 8 feet with the long side facing the pitch thereby providing a wide viewing area in a spacious overall area.

As the lower level boxes are elevated above the pitch side-rail and have a separate seated area in front, both tiers will offer excellent views of the pitch.

What is offered in them?

The boxes are decorated to a high standard with a Moseley theme and equipped with mini bars stocked up on games days only. A good quality buffet is served on match days for companies and individuals to entertain their guests.

This will include 12 x match admissions, a high quality “fork buffet” with dessert, tea/coffee etc, match day programme and preferred parking only yards from the facility.

If you (or your company) are interested in a box for the game please contact Commercial Manager Alan Potter on 07706-171214 or the club office on 0121 443 3631
